Science Experiment Apples

Question: Why does the pH of apple juice change when you heat it?
I’m doing a science experiment and i need help with my hypothesis
Answer: Maybe when you heat it more of the molecules dissasociate into the hydrogen ions and the anions. Making it more acidic
And when you cool down they join together with the hydrogen again?
Just a hypothesis though.

Lab Experiments For Chemistry

Question: Chemistry Lab Questions?
I was absent during a lab experiment for school and we burned magnesium ribbon and I would be grateful if anyone can help me answer the following questions:
1. Examine the sold product after it has burned, is it still magnesium metal?
2. Has a chemical reaction occured? Explain
3. Can the ash be changed back into magnesium ribbon? Explain
4. What evidence suggests that a chemical reaction took place?
Thanks for any help
Answer: I only know the answers to the first two:
1) No, it has oxidized and is now an ionic compound, MgO.
2)Yes, it has undergone a synthesis reaction.
