Science Experiment For 1st Grade

Question: Is this an acceptable Science fair experiment?
Is this too easy of an experiment for a 6th grader in an advanced class.
1. What Foods do dogs react to?
2.How long does it take for them to notice each food?
3.Why are they attracted to only some foods?
For question 3 would I just look the ingredients up or is there something else I need to do
What grade would I probably get
Please answer all of the questions
Answer: what grade u would get probably depends on ur teacher. for question 3, u should look up ingredients and try to find the ingredients that are common among the foods that dogs react to.
if u want a science fair project that is very cool and more advanced, you should do electroplating (u can look it up on google). that was my science fair project when i was in 6th grade and i got 1st place. it isn’t too hard, and it is more impressive than different dog foods. just e-mail me if u have any questions about it

Science Experiments Kindergarten

Question: educational activities?
I have 2 kids, one is going into kindergarten and the other is going into 3rd grade. What are some good educational games/activities we can do over summer break? We’ve been to museums and the zoo, so what else is there? Any fun/easy Science Experiments?
Thanks in advance. =)
we’ve done cookies, cupcakes and green eggs and ham. anything else? there must be something.
Answer: Maybe you guys can have these things called theme days. Theme days is when you pick a theme for the day and stick to it. Maybe you want to have library day, then you can go to an actual library, pick out a book, and have them pick out their own book.
You might also want to have these things called stations. There is like 4 stations. One station involves something fun from the kitchen that they can make or bake themselves. The second station involves something to do with arts and crafts. The third station involves something that has to do with school work, to keep their minds active from their school break. One worksheet for the kindergartner and one for the 3rd grader. The fourth and last station is the play station. They can have their toys there, waiting to be played with.
Something else that you might want to try is making home made play dough together. What you will need is flour, oil, salt. Take the flour and pour some into a bowl. Mix with about 3 tablespoons of oil. Mix in more oil if needed. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to help the mix stick together better. You’re done!
Hope it’s all you need. Glad to help. Hope you have a great summer!
