Question: Chemistry Home Experiment Help Pleeeeaaaase!!!?

I had to do an at home chemistry experiment for school (ilc). I had to put a galvanised nail, a steel nail, a penny, and a nickle in viniger and record the results in an hour, 3 hours, 24 hours, and three days. I didn’t see any results untill 24 hours at which point the steel nail was most corroded, than the galvanised nail. I didn’t see any results in the penny and nickle untill 3 days at which point the penny was more corroded and the nickle hardly at all. Also I don’t know what metel nickle would be considered in the metel activity series. I’m hoping someone else has done this experiment and wouldn’t mind sharing their results with me??????
I feel like since i am supposed to record after an hour and 3 hours that i should have seen some results by then.

Answer: You have great results.. What are you asking for?? Use the results and record it. Give your explanation.

Question: 7th grade science project?

I need to find an experiment for a project about vision problems and correction. I’m thinking about having people read off the eye chart, but I might get a low score on my project?! This experiment/activity needs to be able to have variables, a hypothesis & blahblahblah. you get it? okay thanks to whoever answers this question.
and btw I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING ONLINE!!
oh and also; i need to have an experiemnt which i can show to the class, not just the data.
i knoo tough! this project is worth 100 points!! :(

Answer: have a project about how people get glasses, kinds of eye problems(variables are sitting near tv sets make you have eye prob.)

Question: What is better for my flowers?

Regular water or sparkling (carbonated) water. My neighbor died and left me his Perrier water, some fancy brand imported from France. I can’t say I like the taste, and I’ll probably just give it away, but I was wondering, do you think it would have any affect on how my plants grow if i used it for watering them for the next few days, or if i had more for the next few weeks/months?
Sorry if this is more of a lawn and gardening questions, but it reminds me of those old Science Experiments where kids see if there’s a difference between playing music, what kind of light sweetened or regular water and those kinds of effects on plants.
Oh wow there is some science behind carbonated water for flowering plants. I was half afraid people might take this as trolling in some way. Interestingly enough this water is kind of high in calcium, it has 5% of the human daily need at least.

Answer: The biggest benefit it seems carbonated water will have on plants is in its growth rate. Plants that have been watered properly with carbonated water tend to grow faster than those watered with tap water over a 10-day period. Another benefit is that plants that were watered with carbonated water have generally greener, healthier-looking leaves and stalks, making it a healthier-looking plant all around.

Though carbonated water can help your plants grow faster, reaching their optimal height quicker, one of the big drawbacks is that your plant may not stay healthy the amount of time it would have if allowed to grow at its own pace using tap water, fertilizer and nutrient solutions. You may get a tall, healthy, green plant faster, but it will not be sustained as long as would a regularly watered one. Another major drawback is that prolonged exposure to carbonated water may raise the pH level of your soil and strip it of calcium, neither of which may be good for your plant(s).
