Science Experiment Checklist

Question: I need help for a life science fair for school?

Well at school we have a science fair project due sometime in December. My project was going to be “Can a Russian Tortoise see color” however in the packet my teacher gave me there’s a checklist. One of the requirements is this:
“Community Connection-Your Experiment Project must deal with a real-world issue. Your project must work toward a solution for a problem or answer to a question, about which people in our society or in our community, are curious.”
Does my tortoise project still work? And if not, then what are some projects I can do with a community connection with animals?

Answer: As for the person above me thanks for answering i am definitely picking you for my best answer but anyway i don’t really think your project applies maybe go into your local shelter and do some kind of experiment. Hope this helps.

i want to do one that has a trick of the eye like this http://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentoring/project_ideas/HumBeh_p008.shtml?from=Home its really neat but i need a question like does other people eyes agust faster than others??? please help or if you have any other fun ideas

Answer: hey there! That is soooooo cool! Thanks… I never saw that before. Actually those remind me of those other smaller ones but I forget what you call them. You like suppose to start at the book and then as you draw it closer to you face, then the picture becomes 3D….

Oh I FOUND them!!!!! These are the ones I was thinking about…. the sheets have patterns and are like basically one color, but if you stare at them long enough a picture of like a car or a horse or whatever pops out…. I LOVE these!!!

Also… in the olden days.. they used to have this picture viewing gadget… I forget what you call it…. but you basically stick to photographs on the viewer side by side and when you look through the viewer, they become one picture….
