Science Experiments Probability

Question: Help with any these 2 math questions? 10 pts best answer!?
1. A science experiment produced 10,230,000 cells. What is this number in scientific notation?
2.A sample consists of 124 separate events that are equally likely. What is the probability of each?
if there is worked needed, will you please show me?! thanks in advance!
Answer: 1. A science experiment produced 10,230,000 cells. What is this number in scientific notation?
1.023 x 10^7
2.A sample consists of 124 separate events that are equally likely. What is the probability of each?
1/124
= .0080645 = .0081
= .81%

Science Experiment Articles

Question: The Vatican and science: would you like to perform a fun experiment?
Here’s a quote from a NYTimes article:
“In 2003 a senior Vatican official claimed condoms had tiny holes in them through which HIV can pass, exposing thousands of people to risk.”
Now for the experiment:
Take a condom.
Fill it with water.
Does the water stay inside?
And now, fun fact: a water molecule is approximately 10 000 times smaller than a virus.
Have a nice day!
Answer: What I think the pope was trying to say is tht condoms dont have a 100% success rate (cause they do break) where as absistaince dose.
But having said that the pope is living in a fansty land where no one has pre-martial sex.

Science Experiment Report

Question: What are some science experiments/projects/report that I can do in 1-4 days?
and that will get me good-average mark
thanks
Answer: Build a homemade solar cell. The only supplies you need are a stovetop, two sheets of copper flashing from the hardware store (should cost about 4 dollars a piece for shingles), a soda bottle, salt water, two aligator clip leads, (at the hardware store for less than a buck), and (optional) a amplitude meter to read how much power you are generating. There is a procedure on how to do this online and it is very simple, I did it in about 3 hours and it is really cool. Heres the link for the procedure, http://worldwatts.com/homemade_solar_cell/homemade_solar_cell.html BTW, im not spamming for the site because I have no relation to it. Try this project its fun and has a cool result, because if you tell your teacher that you are interested in making alternative energy sources then she will be very pleased.
