Question: How do you do an experiment for this science fair project?

The topic is: How does global warming affect plants and the environment?

I got this idea from Yahoo! Answers. The person said to build a (thinking of the word!) model (or something) of earth and see how it affects things by increasing the temperatures. Is that a good idea? If yes, how can I build it and what materials do i need? Is there another way?

Answer: If you do that, you will take a long time to be done.

Maybe you can make a 3 day experiment and produce the results during science fair. You will need an incubator or anything to manage it though.

Take 4 plants of the same type and approximately same size and age. Preferably small plants so it will be easy to store. Replant them into small boxes or pots of the same size. Place two of the pots in a normal temperature room where it can get all the sunlight it needs. The other two will be placed in an incubator where the temperature will be increased about 4 degrees higher than the normal room temperature.

Don’t forget to provide all the nutrients the plants need.

After 3 days, record your observations. Take photos of the plant before and after the experiment for comparison. It will be the main statement. Present the plants during the fair too.

There you go, all ready for the science fair!

Question: PLEASE i have NO IDEA what to do on this TITRATION lab experiment question? i would appreciate some help :) ?

I did an experiment and found that the mean concentration (M) of HC2H3O2 (acetic acid) is 838. I also initially had the molarity of NaOH to be 0.25, and the volume of NaOH to be 34 mL.

they are asking me this:

the manufacturer of the vinegar used in this experiment claims that the vinegar contains 5% acetic acid by weight. Use your results and a density of 1.0 g/mL to investigate this claim.

thank u :)
oops, i meant the acetic acid’s molarity was 8.38 M

Answer: Wow, 838 M acetic acid? Are you sure you didn’t do something wrong? The most concentrated I’ve used was 15-20 M acetic acid.

I would say that the manufacturer of your vinegar is trying to kill you if they wanted to sell you 838 M acetic acid, or you got a really good deal.
