Science Experiment Template

Question: Is anyone concerned about the Large Hadron Collider Particle Accelerator?
The worlds largest science experiment will be at full light speed power
next week. An underground ring of superconducting magnets, reaching from Switzerland into France, will smash together subatomic particles at incredible force. Physicists hope to lean about the origins of mass and are universe by recreating the conditions which were present less than a billionth of a second after the Big Bang.
It is also possible they will make miniature black holes, or discover new dimensions of space-time.
Sounds exciting but what do you think?

Answer: Steven Hawking pretty thoroughly explored the quantum black hole bit. Unfortunately (fortunately? hmm…) any quantum black hole that is created falls apart (“dissolves”, “destabilizes”) almost instantly. So we can’t destroy the Earth that way.
One of my professors is working on it. It’s really a very cool project – it’s a way of getting a better, clearer, more consistent view of how the universe works – especially subatomic particles, which are pretty awesome. I mean, it’s weird to think of ourselves as mostly empty space, made up of quarks and gluons and charms and a bunch of powerful short-range energy fields, but that’s what we are. Yay for the weirdness of the universe!
Cool Science: Silver Chloride Photochemistry
Science Experiment For Middle School

Question: Science Experiment Ideas?
I NEED a science experiment , for a competition against the WHOLE state , i have a group of 3 im good with chemistry and my freind is good with biology and my other freind is good with physics.
we were thinking about making a mirror with silver nitrate and sodium hydroxide but we couldnt cos of the guidelines that say
- no explosive, flammable or poisonous experiments
- no cruelty to animals
- no harm to the environment
so i need some good ideas and/or websites
i need the ideas to be bold , new and differant so dont tell me things like making a volcano with bi-carb soda and vinegar or changing flour colours and if you tell me something please try to tell me where i can get the chemical.
im nearly finished middle school.
pleaseee answer quickly. THANKS A TRILLION!
oh and i need it to proove something.
-what
-why
-how etc…
this is last years winners checkout their entries

Answer: If I had a dollar for every time this question is asked …
As references, I’ve listed a wealth of sites with a wealth of project ideas. I haven’t checked all the links lately, so some may no longer be valid. Thanks to Former MN Science Teacher for many of them. Check out the past winners/entrants at the scisvc.org site for more difficult projects.
Be creative. Don’t waste this extremely valuable experience by copying someone else’s idea. Focus on what interests you. Choose the best and most interesting project that you’re confident you can accomplish in the time allowed. And allow plenty of time. A really good science project looks very good to college admissions officers, especially if the fair judges agree and award you a prize. You want to show that you can think, reason, manage a project, do proper experiments, write your results clearly and accurately, and that you’re willing to work. Do your own research. Do your own work. Get help and get advice. Teachers and people in industry are often very willing to give advice and to make equipment and facilities available to someone who really cares about their project. It’s a great experience.

Simple Science Projects For Kids
Science Experiments Children

Question: What is a really easy experiment that a child can do for science day?
like it has to be something that doesn’t include fire or electricity and it has to be easy to carry.
Answer: you can like maybe show the colours and why they mix together with paint and how the colour mix.
