Question: what dissolves what in a penny cleaning solution?

ok so well im doing a science experiment on the penny cleaning solution (the salt and vinegar one). i found this website with ALL the information about what dissolves what like with the copper oxide and such…the website name said geek in it but i cant remember the website name…im not asking you to give me the website but can you please tell me everything you know about the dissolving copper oxide and if possible please site your information

Answer: I think it might dissolve with water and something that eats zinc.
