Science Experiment Supplies

Question: chemistry experiment help, please?
I’m a high school junior. I need help simply coming up with a topic to do an experiment on. It needs to be really advanced (or at least sound like it) in order to be accepted into the science honors college.
They rejected my last proposal about Iodine titration of vitamin C in foods because it was apparently done at the middle school level. (I thought it was pretty difficult. Those must be some genius middle schoolers!)
Basically, it needs to be a difficult experiment, incorporating lots of math, but use materials that a high school student would be able to obtain. I’m obviously not going to be able to get my hands on exotic chemicals or expensive supplies.

Here’s a bunch of ideas that are supposedly “advanced”
