Question: Where can you get pure acidic water and basic water? For a science experiment?

I need a simple, inexpensive method that’s doable with household products or products that are easily obtained.

Answer: Washing soda is basic. So is baking soda, but less so. Vinegar is acidic.

Try pouring vinegar onto baking soda (just a teaspoon at the bottom of a tumbler).
